- Towtector mounts on your ball mount. (see picture)
3. How do I store my Towtector?
- Every Towtector comes with a free wall storage bracket for easy storage.
4. Does Towtector mount securely?
- Yes. Towtector clamps securely on your ball mount by tightening a 1/2:” bolt.
5. Is Towtector a one size fits all product?
- No. Towtector offers different brush strip lengths to accommodate different vehicle receiver heights.
6. Can the Towtector brush stripes be replaced?
- Yes. You can slide out the old ones and slide in new ones.
7. Will your brush strips ever wear out?
- Your brush strips should never wear out if your ground clearance is maintained.
8. How heavy is the Towtector?
- Approximately 30 Lbs.
9. What kind of protective coating does Towtector have?
- Powder coat paint.
10. How much room do I need on my ball mount?
- 1 ¾”
11. What will my exhaust do to my Towtector?
- Under the bumper rear exhaust will melt your brush strips. Cut 2” circle around exhaust.
12. Will ice and snow collect on the Towtector?
- Yes, but it will not harm the Towtector.
13. How will Towtector stand up in very cold weather?
- The cold will not affect the performance of the Towtector.
14. How easy is it to clean the Towtector?
- Take it to the car wash and clean.
15. Does Towtector affect your gas mileage?
